The nursery at McPheeters Turf, Inc. began as an FFA project with a few one gallon juniper shrubs. It has grown to be a nursery today with a wide variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses, all specifically for Central Oregon. Most all of our products have wintered here at least one winter.

Below we list just a few of the varieties that are generally available in the nursery that has been called, “The Nursery with a View” over the years.

Perennials:

Daylilies, Hostas, Hibiscus, Black-eyed Susans, Ornamental Grasses, Yarrow, Coreopsis, Catmint, Coneflowers, and more.

Shrubs:

Barberry, Spiraea, Burning Bush, Yew, Juniper, Willow, Snowberry, Hydrangea, Cranberry Bush, Potentilla, and more.

Trees:

Ornamental Crabapple, Maple, Oak, Ash, Honeylocust, Mountain Ash, Swedish Columnar Aspen, Russian Olive, Flowering Pear, Flowering Plum, and more.
